GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF TICKET SALES AND ACCESS TO THE LAVENDER FESTIVAL
General Terms of Use and Purchase
These Terms take effect on 1 March 2023. These Terms of Use are as follows:
1.- Scope of these terms
These general terms and conditions govern the purchase of tickets and access to concerts and activities at the Festival de la Lavanda. The organising and ticket-selling entity is Asociación Cultural de la Lavanda, with tax ID G09880196 and registered office at calle Barrionuevo Alto, 30, 19400 Brihuega (Guadalajara), hereinafter, “the Organiser”.
For any questions about these terms or ticket purchases, you can email info@festivaldelalavanda.comIf you purchase through an authorised ticketing platform, its terms of service will also apply to the services it provides, without prejudice to consumers’ statutory rights.
1.1.- Acceptance of the terms and conditions
Before completing the purchase, the buyer may review these terms and must expressly accept them. Purchasing a ticket constitutes acceptance of the Festival’s ticket sales and admission terms, as well as any event-specific terms communicated before purchase. Accepting these terms does not constitute consent to receive marketing communications or to any other data processing that requires specific consent. Such consent will be requested separately where applicable.
1.2.- Amendments to the terms
The Organiser may update these general terms and conditions. Each version will state its effective date and will be available to view on this website. Purchases will be governed by the terms and conditions accepted at the time of purchase. Subsequent updates will not apply retroactively, unless required by applicable law. The specific terms and conditions for each event will be communicated before the purchase is completed and will supplement these general terms and conditions, always respecting the rights legally granted to consumers..
1.3.- Requirements for making a purchase
The buyer must have the legal capacity to enter into a contract under applicable law. Where their legal representative’s involvement is required, the purchase must be made with that representative’s involvement.
The information provided during purchase must be accurate and enable delivery of tickets and order-related communications. Ticket purchase requirements differ from the conditions for minors to access the Festival, which are detailed in the relevant section.
1.4.- Interpretation of these terms
These general terms and conditions, together with any specific terms communicated and accepted before purchase, govern the purchase of tickets and access to the Festival. If any clause is declared invalid or unenforceable, the remaining clauses will continue in force provided the contract can remain in effect without it. Nothing in these terms and conditions limits the rights granted to consumers under applicable law. These terms and conditions are available in Spanish and may be viewed and saved before purchase.
2.- Purpose: Website content and services
2.1.- . Website information and services
The website www.festivaldelalavanda.com provides information about the Lavender Festival, held in Brihuega (Guadalajara), its programme and the conditions of attendance. You can use this website to buy tickets for available concerts and activities, either directly or through the authorised ticketing platforms listed. You can also choose to subscribe to the newsletter to receive Festival updates. This subscription is separate from ticket purchases and can be cancelled at any time using the link in each communication.
2.2.- Tickets, prices and booking fees
Before purchase, information will be provided about the event, its date, time, location, ticket type and included services. Prices will be shown in euros and include applicable taxes. Any booking or delivery fees will be clearly identified and itemised, with the total amount payable shown before payment is confirmed. Optional services carrying an additional charge require the buyer’s express acceptance. The terms for ticket and associated fee refunds are set out in the relevant section of these terms, without prejudice to consumers’ statutory rights.
2.3.- Ticket and Event access conditions
General Admission and Preferente tickets include an unreserved seat in the area corresponding to the ticket type purchased. VIP tickets include a reserved seat in accordance with the terms indicated during purchase. If there is a limit on the number of tickets per person or order, this will be stated before the purchase is completed. If this limit is exceeded, the Organiser may cancel any excess tickets, notifying the buyer and refunding the price of the cancelled tickets and their associated fees.
The Organiser may refuse entry in the following cases, in accordance with applicable law:
- Engages in violent behaviour, threatens other people or causes a disturbance that compromises safety or the running of the event.
- Incites hatred, violence or discrimination, or displays clothing, symbols or objects that promote such behaviour.
- Carries weapons or unauthorised dangerous objects.
- Shows clear signs of intoxication that compromise their safety or the safety of others.
- Fails to comply with the requirements for minors’ admission set out in these terms.
- Fails to comply with the published objective admission conditions or justified safety instructions given by authorised staff.
Access will under no circumstances be denied on discriminatory grounds, including birth, racial or ethnic origin, sex, religion, opinion, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity or any other personal or social status or circumstance.
Prohibited items and products
For safety reasons, the following items are not permitted inside the venue:
- Weapons, dangerous objects, firecrackers or other pyrotechnic articles.
- Glass, metal or ceramic containers, flasks, metal bottles or frozen containers.
- Motorcycle helmets, suitcases, large bags or backpacks.
- Banners, flags or symbols that incite hatred, violence or discrimination.
- Alcoholic beverages or illegal substances.
- Selfie sticks, umbrellas, drones or laser pointers.
- Coolers or bags containing food.
- Audio or video recording equipment and cameras with interchangeable lenses, unless authorised by the Organiser.
Food and drink
Outside food and drink may not be brought into the venue, except water in plastic bottles. Thermoses and metal bottles are not permitted, even if they contain water.
Specific medical or dietary requirements may be communicated in advance to info@festivaldelalavanda.com to coordinate access with the Organiser, while respecting the rights recognised under applicable law.
Security checks and remaining at the venue
Licensed private security staff may carry out identity and personal belongings checks at the entrance or inside the venue, in accordance with applicable regulations and with respect for people’s dignity. They may not retain personal identification documents.
Refusal to undergo legally required checks may result in denied entry or a requirement to leave the venue.
Attendees must follow the safety instructions given by authorised staff. Anyone whose violent behaviour, disruption of public order or non-compliance compromises safety may be required to leave the venue, by means of justified and proportionate measures.
Liability and personal belongings
Each person is responsible for any damage they cause in accordance with applicable law. We recommend keeping personal belongings in sight and reporting any loss, theft or incident to Festival staff.
These terms do not exclude or limit any liability that the Organiser may have under the law.
2.4.- Access for children and people with reduced mobility:
Admission of minors
Children under 16 must enter and remain at the venue accompanied by their father, mother or legal guardian. Children aged 5 and under may enter free of charge, provided they do not occupy a seat. Their free-entry pass must be collected from the box office, where documentation proving their age may be requested. If they occupy a seat, they must have a valid ticket. Children aged 6 and over must have a ticket. The accompanying adult must hold a valid ticket and is responsible for supervising the child during the event.
Minors must leave the venue with their accompanying adult when the event ends. Alcoholic drinks will not be sold or supplied to anyone under 18.
Access for people with reduced mobility
The Festival has an area designated for people with reduced mobility. Details of this area, available tickets and admission arrangements for companions will be provided before purchase.

The event takes place in a natural setting. Access routes may include uneven ground and slopes. We recommend checking the route conditions in advance so you can plan your visit according to your needs.
If a ticket type requires proof of a specific status, the requirements and necessary documentation will be explained in advance. Only the data essential to verify this will be requested. Companions must purchase their own tickets. A ticket for a person with reduced mobility does not include free admission for their companion.
2.5.- Photography, recordings and image rights
During the Festival, the Organiser and accredited professionals may take photographs and make recordings to document the event.
General event photography in which attendees appear only incidentally may be shared for informational purposes where permitted by applicable law.
Express and specific consent will be obtained in advance before using an identifiable person’s image for advertising or commercial purposes. Purchasing a ticket or attending the Festival does not constitute general authorisation for such uses.
Images of children will be given special protection. Where authorisation is required, it will be obtained in accordance with applicable law, taking into account the child’s age and maturity and the involvement of their legal representatives.

3.- How to purchase, payment methods and ticket delivery
3.1.- Purchase process
Tickets may be purchased through the Festival’s official website and the authorised ticketing platforms listed there.
Before confirming the order, the buyer may review the event, date, ticket type, number of tickets and total amount, including applicable taxes and fees.
To process the purchase, the information needed to manage the order and deliver the tickets must be provided. The buyer must check that this information, especially the email address, is correct.
Purchases require express acceptance of the terms and conditions of sale. Subscribing to marketing communications is optional and will be requested separately.
Once payment has been confirmed, a purchase confirmation will be sent and tickets will be provided through the procedure specified by the sales channel.
If you do not receive your confirmation or tickets, check your junk folder and contact the channel through which you made your purchase. For questions about purchases made directly on the Festival website, email info@festivaldelalavanda.com.
3.2-
Payment methods
Payment may be made using the methods enabled by the sales channel, which will be displayed before the purchase is completed. Electronic payments will be processed through the relevant payment service provider. Payment data will be processed in accordance with applicable law and the privacy information provided during the process. If payment is declined or not completed, the purchase will not be confirmed. Before trying again, we recommend checking whether you have received an order confirmation or whether a charge has been made. If you have any issues, contact the channel through which you made your purchase. If you purchased directly from the Festival website, email info@festivaldelalavanda.com.
3.3. - Ticket delivery:
Once the purchase is confirmed, tickets will be provided through the system specified by the sales channel, which may involve sending them by email or making them available to download from the platform.
Check that the tickets you receive match the event, date, ticket type and quantity purchased. If you notice a problem, contact the sales channel where you made the purchase as soon as possible.
Keep your order confirmation and tickets until the event has ended. Before attending, make sure the access code is displayed in full and is legible in the format accepted by the sales channel.
If you do not receive your tickets, check your junk mail folder. For issues with direct purchases on the Festival website, email info@festivaldelalavanda.com, quoting your order reference.
4.- Use of the website
Users must use this website lawfully, respect the rights of third parties and avoid any actions that could damage, overload or disrupt its operation. Introducing malicious software, accessing systems or data without authorisation, impersonating others or interfering with the ticket purchase process is prohibited. The Organiser will take reasonable measures to maintain the website’s operation and security. However, interruptions may occur due to maintenance, technical issues or other causes.

Website outages or issues will not limit consumers’ rights or exclude any liabilities for which the Organiser is legally responsible.
5.- Intellectual property in the content, website and user-generated content
The text, photographs, videos, designs, logos and other content on this website are protected by intellectual or industrial property rights and belong to the Organiser or their respective owners.
Visiting the website or purchasing a ticket does not constitute a transfer of these rights.
Reproduction, distribution, adaptation or public communication of the content requires the authorisation of the relevant rights holder, except where permitted by applicable law.
Links to public pages on the website may be shared provided they do not imply a non-existent partnership or endorsement, or misrepresent the content.
These terms and conditions and documents relating to a purchase may be downloaded, saved or printed for reference and to exercise the purchaser’s rights.

6.- Term and right of withdrawal
6.1.- Term of the contract
Purchasing a ticket establishes a contractual relationship to attend the event and access the services included in the ticket type purchased.
The delivery of a ticket does not, by itself, mean that the Organiser has fulfilled all its obligations. These also include holding the event and providing the services purchased, in accordance with the conditions of purchase.
The end of the event does not extinguish any rights to make a claim, obtain a refund or receive compensation that may apply under the relevant regulations.
6.2.- Right of withdrawal
The 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to ticket purchases for events scheduled to take place on a specific date or during a specific period, in accordance with Article 103(l) of Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007.
Accordingly, the buyer may not cancel a purchase simply because they have changed their mind, unless the ticket type purchased expressly provides for this option.
This exception does not affect any rights that may apply in the event of cancellation, a substantial change to the event or failure to provide the contracted services. Nor does it prevent you from claiming under an insurance policy you have taken out, subject to its cover and terms.
6.3.- Cancellations, changes and refunds
If the event is cancelled, the applicable amounts will be refunded in accordance with the regulations in force, including any associated charges that are legally refundable.
For purchases made directly through the Festival website, refunds for cancellations will be processed automatically using the same payment method used for the purchase. Purchases made through other authorised platforms will be handled through the relevant channel.
If the event is postponed or the advertised terms are substantially changed, the Organiser will communicate the available options and the procedure for requesting a refund, where applicable. Accepting a new date or alternative is voluntary.
Notices about cancellations or changes will be published through official channels and sent to the contact details provided during purchase, where available.
Force majeure alone will not result in the loss of any refund rights provided for under applicable law.
Refunds for travel, accommodation or other services booked separately, as well as any compensation, will be determined in accordance with applicable law and the circumstances of each case.

7.- Liability: limitations
The Organiser will be liable for fulfilling its obligations and for any damage attributable to it under applicable law.
Technical issues, third-party involvement or circumstances beyond our control will be assessed on a case-by-case basis and will not automatically exclude liability.
If a ticket has a defect that prevents it from being scanned or validated, the buyer may ask the relevant sales channel to review it. If the defect is attributable to the Organiser or the sales channel, a solution will be provided free of charge, without prejudice to any other applicable rights.
Nothing in these terms and conditions constitutes a waiver of consumer rights or excludes any liabilities for which the Organiser is legally responsible.
8.- Miscellaneous
8.1.- Personal data protection
La Asociación Cultural de la Lavanda will process the personal data needed to manage purchases, deliver tickets, respond to enquiries and meet its legal obligations.
Information on the purposes and legal bases of processing, recipients, retention periods and how to exercise your rights is set out in this website’s Privacy Policy.
If you purchase through an authorised ticketing platform, that platform will provide information about its data processing activities.
Any processing that requires consent, such as voluntarily subscribing to the newsletter, will be subject to a specific, separate request for consent. Accepting these terms does not constitute general consent to any use of personal data.

8.2.- Cookies
This website uses cookies and similar technologies, whose features and purposes are detailed in the Cookie Policy.
Cookies necessary to provide a service requested by the user may be used without consent where legally exempt. All other cookies require the user’s prior consent.

Browsing the website or accepting these general terms and conditions does not, by itself, constitute acceptance of cookies that require consent.

Consumers may request the official complaints forms provided for by law and contact the relevant consumer protection authorities.
8.4.- Safety measures and exceptional circumstances
The Festival will be held subject to the mandatory rules and measures established by the competent authorities.
If extraordinary security measures need to be taken, the event conditions changed or the event suspended, the Organiser will inform ticket holders of the changes and their consequences.
Any measures taken must be justified and proportionate, while respecting the rights of attendees.
If these circumstances result in the event being cancelled or postponed, or its terms being substantially changed, section 6.3 and the relevant regulations will apply. Acceptance of any alternatives to a refund is voluntary.
8.5. - Governing law and dispute resolution
These terms and conditions are governed by Spanish law, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rules that may apply.
To make a complaint, you can contact the Organiser through the channels listed in section 8.3.
Consumers may contact the relevant consumer protection authorities and use any applicable alternative dispute resolution procedures. Consumer arbitration is available where the Organiser has joined the scheme or agrees to it for the specific case.
If a dispute must be resolved through the courts, jurisdiction will lie with the courts determined under applicable law, subject to the rules protecting consumers.
